Short version: install our apps, use them honestly, pay us if you’re on a paid plan, uninstall any time. The longer version is below.
By installing Rushly or Emote, or by using humox.dev, you agree to these terms together with our Privacy policy and Acceptable use policy.
1. The service
“Service” means the Humox apps you install through the Shopify App Store, currently:
- Rushly — live, real-data social-proof widgets.
- Emote — emoji reactions for product, collection, and article pages.
We may add, change, or remove features. Material breaking changes will be announced to subscribed merchants at least 30 days in advance.
2. Your Shopify account
You need an active Shopify store to install our apps. Shopify handles your account, your billing, and your payment details — we never see card information.
3. Plans and billing
Current pricing is on humox.dev and on each app’s Shopify App Store listing.
- Free trial: every paid plan includes a 14-day free trial. Cancel during the trial and you won’t be charged.
- Billing cycle: Shopify bills you monthly (or yearly, where the plan supports it) on the anniversary of your subscription start.
- Plan changes: new plan takes effect at the next renewal — we don’t pro-rate mid-cycle.
- Refunds: Shopify handles refunds per their policy. If a material outage on our side prevented you from using the app, email us and we’ll make it right.
- Failed payments: if Shopify can’t bill you, paid features may be restricted until payment succeeds.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the Service in line with our Acceptable use policy.
- Don’t try to manufacture data, scrape our infrastructure, or bypass plan tiers.
- Don’t use our apps to show shoppers things that didn’t happen — that defeats the whole product.
5. Our responsibilities
- Keep the Service reasonably available. Widgets fail closed: if our backend is unreachable, the widget stays invisible — it won’t break your store.
- Keep your data secure as described in the Privacy policy.
- Reply to support email at [email protected] within two business days (one for paid plans).
6. What you own, what we own
You own your store, your products, your widget configurations, and your custom copy. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content only to provide the Service.
We own the Service itself — code, design, and the “Humox”, “Rushly”, and “Emote” names. A factual “Powered by Rushly” link in your footer is welcome; using our marks to imply endorsement is not.
7. Suspension and termination
You can uninstall any time from your Shopify Admin. We delete your data per our Privacy policy.
We may suspend or remove access if you materially breach these terms or the Acceptable use policy. We’ll give you notice and a chance to fix it where reasonable.
8. No warranty, limited liability
The Service is provided “as is”. We don’t warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months or USD 100. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced to subscribed merchants at least 30 days before they take effect.
